      <title>Running the Race</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/running-the-race</link>
<description>Every generation of Christians face challenges in ’running the race of faith’. Living for Christ in the 21st Century is no exception.

The Apostle Paul warned that ’the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear’.

We are living in such times. We should not be surprised, for Jesus warned us there would be many false prophets in the Last Days before His return.

’Running the Race’ challenges the extremes, throws light on the shadows, and illuminates the path which Christ has set before those who have trusted Him with their lives.

"A crisp, clear, and challenging guide for competitors in the greatest race of them all!" Stephen Clark, Consulting Elder at Cornerstone International Church, Dunedin, New Zealand

"The first time I read it through I had to stop at the first chapter. I used what I read in presenting the gospel. Now I get to use the other chapters while I disciple the one who got saved!"Joel Brown: Missionary, Pastor &amp;amp; Church Planter

"Steve Copland’s Running the Race is a must read for all who seek assurance of their salvation. He pulls no punches in describing the cost of discipleship. A wonderful guide in first steps for the new believer and an excellent review of fundamental principles for the mature Christian."David Mullen, Distributed Elder for Northland, A Church Distributed, Longwood FL, USA

      <title>Время Истины</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/vremya-istiny</link>

<title>Hell and Immortality. Living in Christ Series</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/hell-and-immortality-living-in-christ-series</link>
<description>Is the human soul naturally immortal? Does the Bible teach that unbelievers souls will suffer a fiery torment for all eternity, or eventually be annihilated?

The doctrines of hell and immortality are often controversial and divisive. Some views seem to contradict the character of God, whilst others make Him powerless to exercise justice. In this six-part Bible Study Series we explore in depth the main doctrines of hell, Traditionalist, Conditionalist and Universalist.

      <title>Colossians. Living in Christ Series</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/colossians-living-in-christ-series</link>
<description>A Study Series on Colossians for individuals, home groups, and pastors. The Apostle Paul’s letter to the Colossians contains some of the most profound statements ever written about the Lord Jesus Christ and the status of believers. The heresy of Gnosticism had taken root and was spreading throughout the fledgling Gentile churches, a heresy which spearheaded Satan’s attack on the gospel message for over a hundred years.

Gnosticism challenged the fundamental doctrines of the Divinity and humanity of Christ, split the Church into levels of spirituality, promoted ecstatic experiences and the worship of angels, immorality, asceticism and the keeping of human rules and traditions.

This series of twenty studies explores and applies Paul’s inspired answers to all of these topics, challenges the resurgent Gnostic heresies which have resurrected in the past thirty years, and encourages Christians to know their true status in Christ.

      <title>Religion: History and Mystery</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/religion-history-and-mystery</link>
<description>War, Power, Greed, Jihad, Inquisition, Crusades and Extremists, all words we associate with religion. Shamans, priests, prophets and magicians, servants of the gods, mediums of power, or frauds? 22 religions, examined, exposed and deciphered. Religion: History and Mystery explores the ancient and modern religions which have dominated the world for 6000 years.

A new book exploring the major religions of the world from before the flood and through to the New Age religions. This book draws together the history and mysteries which connect religions such as the Aryans, Zoroastrians, Hindus, Babylonians, Buddhists, Judaism, Christianity, Gnosticism, Kabbalism, Islam, Bahai, Mormons, etc,  the New Age religions and Atheism.

What do they all have in common? What are the mysteries which link them together?

This book also points out why Judaism and Christianity are so incredibly distinct from every other religion. Is there a Divine Mystery contained in the Bible which is absent in all other religious texts?

<title>Simon and Simon: Passion and Power</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/simon-and-simon-passion-and-power</link>
<description>Simon and Simon is the second novel of a 1st century trilogy. It features two men born just a few miles apart whose lives are dramatically different, Simon Peter and Simon Magus. Simon Peter's passionate life weaves through the story and is contrasted with Magus, the one known as ‘Simon the Sorcerer’. The latter travels to Kashmir and studies the Rig Veda in search of individual power. He returns to Israel where he meets Simon Peter in a small Samaritan town.

Triarius is a Roman soldier married for only a few months and sent to the Northern frontier. His wife is pregnant when he leaves and believed to be carrying a son if the witch is correct. He sends orders to dispose of the child if the seer is mistaken. His wife gives birth to a daughter, ‘Triaria’, and secretly raises the child while her husband is away, not knowing if he will return. He does, and discovers the child’s existence, and…well, that would be telling the story.

      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/perfection</link>
<description>Perfection! Within the human soul a voice calls us to reach for perfection. So often we demonstrate a desire to know, experience and create that which is perfect. The clothes we wear, the flowers we choose, the religions we practice and love we seek. We reject what we perceive as flawed, and strive for beauty, contentment and fulfillment. Can we know and experience perfection? The answer is 'yes'.

      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/time-for-truth-a-challenge-to-skeptics</link>
<description>Is there one consistent truth, one story which eclipses all others, a single road towards the light revealed through religion, science, philosophy, legend and myth? Some would say 'no'; they are wrong. We live in perilous times. This is a time for answers, a time to take a closer look, this is a Time for Truth.

<description>Just Because takes children on an exciting journey through the Bible as a continuous story. Children see the biblical characters come alive, and anticipate with excitement the coming of Jesus to "crush the serpent’s head" as Satan tries to discover His identity. Each chapter takes about twenty minutes to read and ends with a short biblical lesson. Kids love it.

      <title>Slug: The Reluctant Butterfly</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/slug-the-reluctant-butterfly</link>
<description>Slug wants to fly, but the idea of being ’born again’ as a butterfly frightens him. Like many other caterpillars, he wants to live his way. He is deceived into going to the center of the tree where disobedient caterpillars indulge in worldly activities.

Grunt, a crow, is flying with a gang. He wants to be accepted and look cool. The gang hunt foolish caterpillars who leave the safety of their leaves and go to the center of the tree. Grunt meets Grace who teaches him the gospel and leads him to forgiveness. Slug eventually learns to trust and obey and is born again as a butterfly.

This book teaches children to grasp and accept that God has a special purpose for every life, and true happiness is found in living His plan.

Children 5-10 yrs.

      <title>Mary Magdalene: A Woman Who Loved</title>
      <link>https://equalibra.org/book/mary-magdalene-a-woman-who-loved</link>
      <description>Who was Mary Magdalene?

Was history rewritten? Was she the wife of Jesus, or a prostitute whose life had led her into demonic possession? There are a few broken lines written about her on a tiny Gnostic fragment, but the Gnostic gospels were written to discredit Jesus.

Mary Magdalene is the first book in a trilogy of 1st century novels. This book explores the life of a woman driven into prostitution, bitterness and demon possession, her encounter with Jesus Christ, and total transformation into the ‘apostle to the apostles’. Mary Magdalene brings the gospels to life in a fresh way.

Artilius and Lucius, two Roman soldiers who get involved in the mystery cult of Mithraism end up in Jerusalem and beneath the cross of Jesus. This book also looks deeply into the cultural perceptions regarding women in the 1st century and asks why Jesus would choose a woman with the reputation of Mary Magdalene to be the first witness of the greatest event in human history, His resurrection. Perhaps the answer is found in the words He spoke to a judgmental Pharisee as a woman wept on His feet: “He (she) who is forgiven much, loves much”.

Set in Roman occupied Palestine, where Roman soldiers secretly sacrificed to the god Mithra, this is a story of slavery and freedom, lies and deception, love and crucifixion.
